1. Can I get an admission fee waiver? Is there any scope for getting a scholarship in each semester?
Answer: You will receive an admission waiver depending on your result of the HSC examination. You will get a scholarship if you can maintain a particular CGPA in each semester.
2. What is the exact marks distribution of Army IBA admission test?
Answer: As IBAs are unpredictable, the marks distribution differs from year to year. Fundamental marks distribution:
Maths - 40, English - 20, Bangla - 10, General Knowledge - 10, and Viva-voce - 20
3. Will the question be on the Bangla language?
Answer: There will be only a written part for Bangla, to judge your basics. (Short Paragraph, to be exact!)
4. What things will be there in the English part?
Answer: English Language may have vocabulary part, grammar, as well as there will be a short paragraph.
5. What books do you suggest? Does Army IBA have any question bank?
Answer: Since the admission test will be within a few weeks, starting over on an entirely new book will not be a wise decision. And also there is no question bank made yet by Army IBA. So you can follow the DU IBA and BUP’s FPS question bank for a strong preparation and get a clear conception of the question pattern.
6. What topics should we focus on for the GK part?
Answer: For General Knowledge, you can go through the BCS question of recent years.
7. Do I have to pass individually in each of the parts?
Answer: No, there is no individual passing mark.
8. What is the Exam duration?
Answer: Exam time duration is 2 hours.
9. Where will the exam take place?
Answer: The exam will take place in Army IBA, Savar Cantonment.
10. How well are the graduates from Army IBA doing?
Answer: The Alumnus from Army IBA is from different National and Multinational companies. Some have their startups. Also, almost all of the current students are already doing internships, part-time and full-time jobs in various companies.
